Blister pack of 3 Boutis needles – 90 mm – 1.06 mm – specially designed for creating padded motifs. Boutis is a traditional technique which evolved from Matelassage, another form of Provenal quilting. By embroidering motifs and padding certain parts using bits of cotton, the light and shadow create a dance between transparency and relief. The Boutis needle is a longer and finer one. The work is much easier with this needle, which is perfectly designed for attaching narrow tunnels using a lasso (2 mm wide).
